On 08.02.2022, the Commission for Supervision of the Work of ANB and AR paid an oversight visit to the premises of the Intelligence Agency in accordance with their competencies, the Rules of Procedure, as well as the conclusion adopted at the third session of the Commission for Supervision of the Work of ANB and AR, held on 16.12.2021.

During the visit, a review was made of the newly adopted bylaws that arose as an obligation under the new law on AR of 2021, information on the continuous development and improvement of human capacity in the Agency, activities within international and inter-institutional cooperation, gender equality, digitalization of processes and work in AR.

At the meeting, at the request of the members of the Commission, AR held a security briefing for the members of the Supervisory Commission, which discussed issues related to the security situation in the region, as well as current challenges in the region and beyond in the area of NATO's Euro-Atlantic area of responsibility and collective security, including tensions on the Russian-Ukrainian border, as well as hybrid and asymmetric threats.
