INTELLIGENCE AGENCY

Today, President Stevo Pendarovski paid a working visit to the Intelligence Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The President was informed about the current activities of the Intelligence Agency, as well as their international cooperation with the partner services and agencies within the international security systems and the NATO Alliance.

During the visit, President Pendarovski was introduced to the implementation of the new bylaws arising from the Law on the Intelligence Agency, the foreseen intelligence-operational processes under their jurisdiction, and the interinstitutional cooperation they establish with related institutions in the country.

During his visit of the Agency, the President was briefed on issues related to the security situation in the region, current developments in Europe and wider, in the Euro-Atlantic zone.
