President Stevo Pendarovski paid a working visit to the Intelligence Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia today, on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of its founding.

During the visit, the Director of the Intelligence Agency, Erolld Musliu and the management informed President Pendarovski about the current and planned activities that the Agency carries out in accordance with its competences, and within those frameworks, about the international cooperation with allied services and joint operation projects.

In that context, information was shared about the current challenges in the field of hybrid threats, with an emphasis on the threats to the cyber security of the country and the cyber protection measures harmonized with NATO.

The need for continuous secure digitalization and building protected technical capacities was emphasized as a particularly important segment for the further modernization of the Agency.

President Pendarovski was additionally briefed on the situation with the human resources and capacities of the Agency, the current outflow of employees as well as on the implementation of specialized training courses for the needs of the young personnel of the Agency.
