I most vehemently reject the allegations presented at the press conference held on 20.01.2024, where the MP of VMRO-DPMNE, Dragan Kovacki accused me of something that is by no means related to the position of a director that I perform in accordance with the Law on the Intelligence Agency.

Kovacki is accusing me of allegedly interfering and influencing the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia for work related to the activity of the non- governmental sector in our country, which is a lie that I absolutely reject.

The MP Kovacki describes the situation related to the activities of the non- governmental sector in our country, i.e. cooperation with international organizations and donors that support the non-governmental sector in our country.

I have noticed that for a long period of time, I, as Director of the Intelligence Agency, as well as my wife and her work in the non-governmental sector have been the object of an attack by presenting incorrect and false information placed in a manner that sounds scandalous, presented by party entities, fake profiles on social media, as well as one television platform.

All this is seriously damaging to me as a loyal citizen of the Republic of North Macedonia and a dedicated professional with a 31-year career. This is purposely being done to my wife, who has been working in the non-governmental sector for 23 years, with the aim to harm her in the activities she performs, which have a noble purpose, while you are putting our children in danger by publishing false information about their parents.

From the Musliu family, I am the only one who works in a government body, while my wife is in the non-governmental sector, which means we are not both a burden to the country - is this a sin or a right decision?

This is not the first time you are publishing incorrect and false information, then after failing in your public lynching, republishing them again after some time as new scandals and sensations.

For a long time, I have been refraining from reacting to all that you are falsely publishing regarding my family, or to the constant insults by fake profiles calling me derogatory names on an ethnic basis.

You will not deter me from continuing to successfully lead the Intelligence Agency, to complete the process of reform and rejuvenation of our agency, and you will not intimidate my wife in continuing her noble work in the non-governmental sector.

You are constantly manipulating the public, calling out the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption and the Public Prosecutor's Office, although you should have already done this before repeating the same story full of false information at this press conference.

I encourage you to fight the party battle for winning political power on the political field with clear visions and projects that benefit our society, as well as in the Assembly, and not with fake news that discredit the Director of the Intelligence Agency, which, as an important stakeholder in the national security system, protects the security of our citizens and the security of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Finally, I advise you to publicly apologize for the notorious lies.
